Photo tradeshow

Photo tradeshow took place from Novembre, 7th to Novembre, 11th 2013
I had been able to have free entries because I have an account on monalbumphoto.fr.

It was really huge, there were these big brands like Samsung, Canon, Nikon which showed attractions, conferences about Photoshop, about how using such camera, how to make a photo montage...
We also could try the big cameras that paparazzi use. It was quite impressive to see how far they could target their camera

The only thing is that there were so much people that we could not even move ! We were always saying "Sorry, sorry...".
Additionaly, I think it was badly organized because they gave us a fold in which they described where each exponent was placed and actually they were all in the wrong place. In other words, the place where they were did not correspond to the place indicated in the fold. So it was a mess !

Now it's up to you to say if you went there too and what you thought about it...

A stay in Marseilles

I know what you are going to say... Marseilles is dirty, dangerous, there are thugs, madmen everywhere as we see in the news on TV.
But look at the Vieux Port, some beaches are beautiful like Plages des Corbières or the famous Canebière. And Marseilles is very famous for that.

This year is especially important because Marseilles became the European cultural capital. Since then, I went there this summer and I think it became very modern with all these new museums like the Meditarrean Museum just in front of the beach. You can go upstairs, on the terrasse and there is a fantastic view.

Then you should also visit the famous church of Notre Dame de la Garde which garanties you another splendid overview.

Now it's up to you to tell me what you think about this city...

An internship at 1WeekFlat

I would like to share one of my professional experience that I will always remember because it was a really good experience and I learned a lot.

1WeekFlat is a seasonal real estate agency. Its manager was really nice to me ! She is the only person who works in the company so there was a really good rapport between me and her. Once she even invited me to have lunch together.

During this 3-month internship, from April 2012 to July 2012, I was mainly charged of welcoming the tusrists in the apartment.I really liked doing that because I could talk with different people who were from different part of the world: USA, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Malaysia.... I could put my shyness aside and develop the relational aspect which is crucial if I want to work in trade.
Then I had to update the website, the new Italian website version was in progress si I had to translate everything in Italian, that was a great practice exercise.

Moreover, I could visit many beautiful apartments which were situated in the most beautiful areas in Paris: Opera, Louvres, Marais, Rivoli... and of course I could visit other parts of Paris that I did not know yet like Ecole Militaire, Invalides, Grands Boulevards...

So you had been able to infer that my internship went very well. If you know some people who want to rend an apartment for a week or more to visit Paris, or for business travel, don't hesitate to contact me and I let her know about your wish.

Now let me know if you already rent an apartment in Paris, from which agency and if it was better then 1WeekFlay...

Pixar exhibition at the Musée d'Art Ludique

For all the fans of animated films, I recommend to go to "Pixar - 25 years of animation" exhibation which takes place until March 2014, so you have time to go there.

Here is a video I created with one of my classmate. It deals with Pixar's story with all the famous films, then it will show you some pictures and videos we took (secretly) visiting the exhibition.

Have fun !

Trip in Bulgaria

Yes, this country does exist !
Forget about what you can think about the 26th or 27th European Union country.
You may consider it as an original destination for holidays, indeed it is, and in the right sense.
It is really a beautiful country to visit and I do not exaggerate. At least the part of the country that I visited.
It seems like a French Riviera beach

Last summer, my family and I were deciding our next destination for summer 2012. We wanted to go to Spain but it was full everywhere, which is normal during the month of July (we saw to it a little bit later...). The only place where some rooms were still available was in Bulgaria. There is the sea, the sun... Why not ??

At the end of our stay, I was completely satisfied ! Forget about poverty, corruption, people that come to our country to beg in the metro, and look at the wealth of the monuments, the beautiful landscapes, and also a very delicious food.

Moreover, there is a city which is even registered in the world heritage of UNESCO: Nessebar

To sum up, your next destination is Bulgaria. Even if you can see a certain poverty, there is the contrast with a very wealth culture.
It is just 3 hours from Paris !

Now it's up to you to say what you would think about going there...

Murano exhibition at Maillol Museum

As I'm studying the Italian language and its civilization, it was interesting for me to go to see this exhibition that took place until July, 27th.

Murano is an isle situated in the north of Venice. It is famous for being specialized in glassblowing. The kraftsmen create fantastic glass masterpieces like dishes, chandelier and especially jewelry.

These are the only photos that I could take (secretly) but these mirrors are so beautiful that I could stay in front of them for hours !

The only comment that I would add is that I think it was too much expensive for what I saw... There was few things to see and it cost about 10€ (after students discount)

Now it's up to you to tell me what you thought about this exhibition...

Trip in Naples

I know, this city and its region have a pretty bad reputation: wastes, mafia, a language which is understandable... But there are also many good things to visit and during summer, the beach is great (be careful of some pieces of glass that may lie around the sand...). When the weather is sunny, you have a beautiful view of the very chic isle of Capri from Naples bay.
Of course, there is the famous Vesuve volcano that you can climb. I did it and it was amazing ! There is such a so fantastic view of all the city.

Apart from that, food there is excellent ! I tasted a pastry with an unpronounceable name: "Sfogliatella"

It's mouth-watering, isn't it ?

There are lots of churches to visit, these small tourist alleys where you buy souvenirs...

This is not to scare you but it can remain a dangerous city when you rush into small streets...  When I've been there last summer with my Napolitan friends, we were walking and suddenly there were like gunshots that rang out...

Nevertheless, people are warm and welcoming

Now, it's up to you to let me know if you already have been there and if you thought differently than me...
